GoogleBot is Ordered to Zap Sites with Too Much SEO


Those crazy geniuses over at Google are at it again. The "GoogleBot" algorithm that scans sites to determine their search ranking is to get an upgrade that will penalize heavily optimized sites, says Google's Matt Cutts. The company wants to give more weight to useful, relevant content and to downplay sites that boost their ranking by exchanging too many links or having lists of keywords on their pages.
